On Wednesday, I combined an outdoor photo shoot with a hike: since the weather has been perfect here in Santa Barbara, CA.
Friends Joe and Nick joined, the trail we chose was Jesusita. For the last 5 years or so, Santa Barbara had been in a drought, which made the area very dry and susceptible to wildfires. The most recent wildfire was named "Jesusita" due to the fact that it originated in the area that the hiking trail runs through. Thanks to the huge (for So Cal) amount of rainfall, there has been major green growth, and thanks to the recent heat, wildflower blooms! It was a perfect day for a hike, and some wide angle nature photography! All images are straight from camera, no post processing.
